Rhinoplasty, or nose reshaping surgery, can improve the shape, size and symmetry of a person’s nose, bringing it into better proportion with the rest of the face. Nose reshaping can also help improve your breathing.
Why Consider Rhinoplasty?
Noses come in all shapes and sizes, and rhinoplasty is a very individualized procedure. If you have nasal features that are a concern, you might consider nose reshaping surgery to reduce or increase the size of the nose, reshape the nose, correct bumps on the bridge of the nose or correct breathing problems.
Dr. Camp will examine your facial structure and discuss your goals with you prior to your procedure to help ensure you will achieve natural results that meet your expectations.
What to Expect
Rhinoplasty is an outpatient procedure performed under general anesthesia. There are several different approaches that can be used to perform rhinoplasty, depending on the desired changes. For example, small incisions can be made inside or outside of the nose, and several different reshaping or recontouring techniques can be used depending on each person’s unique treatment plan. Most people can return to sedentary activities within a few days following surgery.
